Suitable for any animal with tidal volumes of 30-350 µL and respiratory rates of 60-400 breaths/min, MiniVent features rod clamp that allows it to be positioned directly next to animal. Ventilator employs valveless rotary plunger that eliminates clogging during ventilation cycle. Inspiration and expiration is controlled by synchronized forward and rotating movement of cylinder and plunger. Compact and lightweight unit reduces tidal volume error due to system compliance to 3 µL.
