Ultrasonic Power Corporation Adds Largest Standard Cleaning System
5/8/09
FREEPORT, IL - Ultrasonic Power Corp (UPC) has introduced the largest standard, self-contained, ultrasonic cleaning system in the industry to its line of cleaning equipment.
The Model UP-5424-a 135-gallon portable ultrasonic cleaning system -- is an ideal addition to any manufacturing facility, engine rebuilder or repair shop, machining center, tool and die shop, metal fabricator or finishing operation, or any other application with a need for an efficient and powerful, industrial ultrasonic cleaning system.
UPC's ultrasonic cleaning systems also offer short cleaning times (typically three to five minutes for average size lots of components). Shorter cleaning cycles also result in labor savings in most manufacturing operations. And the use of environmentally-friendly aqueous cleaning chemicals eliminates acids, solvents and other nasty fluids.
The Model UP-5424 is a heavy duty, portable ultrasonic cleaning system made with the same quality and performance as UPC's smaller 39 and 90 gallon systems.
With internal working dimensions of 54" x 24" x 24" deep and a volume of 135 gallons, the UP-5424 is large enough to clean even a Lamborghini V-10 engine with room to spare. In fact, it is the largest standard, self-contained, ultrasonic cleaning system on the market.
The system is fabricated entirely in Freeport IL., from heavy duty stainless steel; there are no painted steel surfaces that might rust.
The built-in UPC 5300 series generators are the most powerful on the market today. Delivering 3000 watts average output (6000 watts peak), they power 36 high performance UPC "Vibra-barŪ" transducers that are bonded to the tank bottom. These "Vibra-barŪ" transducers produce "Simultaneous Multi-frequency(TM)" insuring consistently uniform and thorough cleaning.
UPC also offers one of the industry's most comprehensive warranties: 10 years on the transducers and two years on the generators.
Ultrasonic Power Corporation, headquartered in Freeport, IL, offers a full line of standard ultrasonic cleaning systems ranging from bench top units (one to 33 gallons) to portable 39, 90, and 135 gallon systems. Custom consoles up to 1700 gallons are also available along with complete automation and manual lift gantry packages and multi-stage systems
UPC serves customers in industries worldwide, including aerospace, pharmaceutical, orthopedics, semi-conductors, manufacturing, power sports, racing and restoration. They also provide their transducers and generators to other ultrasonic companies. Leasing/purchasing programs are also available.
