Munich. MGV has extended its SPH500 Super Slim series. The 500 watt power supply is now also available with 72 VDC output which can be adjusted between 54 - 80 VDC.
This extremely compact power supply calls for a mounting width of only 62 mm and is designed for 90 - 264 VAC mains supplies meeting the most varied demands. It can for instance be used in the field of drive technology to supply power for stepper, servo and linear motors. Modern microcontroller technology provides for fast regulation in the case of dynamic applications. To meet high peak current requirements, a power boost supplies 150% of the rated current for 500ms. The SPH500-7207 is protected against feedback of up to 100 VDC without activating the shutdown mode.
The SPH500 series is also available with 24V/20A and 48V/10A outputs, adjustable between 22 - 29 VDC and 44 - 54 VDC.
The units come in three models for DIN rails, wall mounting and universal fixing devices. A quiet-running integral fan also caters for every conceivable mounting position.
Our SPH500 power supply series has been tested in accordance with EN 60950 and UL 60950 and is UL 508 listed.
