Selective Wavelength Photodiode operates in 380-540 nm.


May 8, 2009 - ODD-470W features spectral bandwidth of 100 nm and operates between 380-540 nm with peak sensitivity response at 470 nm. With low dark current and no optical filters used, photodetector is suited for use in color sensors, fluorescence detection, and medical diagnostic applications. Hermetically sealed, standard TO-46 can facilitates installation into existing or new systems. Storage and operating temperatures range from -30° to 85°C and lead soldering temperature is at 260°C.

Opto Diode Introduces Selective Wavelength Photodiodes


April 28, 2009 - Newbury Park, CA - Opto Diode Corporation, a global supplier of advanced performance photodiodes and highly reliable, visible and IR LEDs, introduces the first in a series of three new selective wavelength photodiodes. The ODD-470W features a spectral bandwidth of 100 nm. It operates between 380 nm and 540 nm, with a peak sensitivity response at 470 nm. With extremely low dark current and no optical filters used, the new photodetector is ideal for use in color sensors and fluorescence detection, and medical diagnostic applications.

The hermetically sealed, standard TO-46 can makes installation into any existing or new system easy. Storage and operating temperatures range from -30 degrees C to 85 degrees C and lead soldering temperature is at 260 degrees C.
