Miniature IEPE Accelerometers weigh only 0.6 grams.
May 19, 2009 -
Offering sensitivity of 1 mV/g, Models 3225M5 and 3225M7 ultra miniature sensors are designed for mounting in narrow spaces only slightly greater than 0.25 in. wide. They are adhesive mount and have 3-56 coaxial connector which mates with replaceable coaxial cable. Featuring titanium case, units are only 0.15 in. high and are suited for measurement of shock and vibration of very small lightweight specimens such as PCBs and board-mounted components.
Chatsworth, CA - April 23, 2009 - Dytran Instruments, Inc. has recently introduced two new units to the 3225F family of ultra miniature IEPE accelerometers. Models 3225M5 and 3225M7 have a sensitivity of 1 mV/g, and are ultra miniature, ultra low profile sensors designed to mount in spaces inaccessible to other types of accelerometers.
Featuring a titanium case and weighing only 0.6 grams, these instruments are ideal for the measurement of shock and vibration of very small lightweight specimens such as printed circuit boards and board-mounted components.
Designed for adhesive mount, these units may be mounted in very narrow spaces only slightly greater than 0.25 inch wide. Their height is only 0.15 inch.
Both models 3225M5 and 3225M7 have a special 3-56 coaxial connector which mates with a replaceable coaxial cable (supplied). The cable for the 3225M5 is model 6003A03, and it is 3 feet long and has a 10-32 coaxial jack at the end. Cable 6003B10 is supplied with the 3225M7 accelerometer, and it is 10 feet long and has a 10-32 coaxial plug at the end.
