Label-Aire Launches Vacuum Wrap Front/Back Labeling System
The new Label-Aire® Inline Series 5100 Vacuum Wrap Front/Back labeling system is designed to accurately apply front- and back labels to round bottles without the need of a second label applicator.
Fullerton, Calif. - Label-Aire, the innovative company that first brought to the packaging industry 40 years ago the patented "air-blow" concept for applying pressure-sensitive labels, is at it again with its new Inline Series 5100 Vacuum Wrap Front/Back labeling system.
Label-Aire's latest labeling system consists of the rugged and dependable stainless steel/cabinet-based Inline Series 5100 outfitted with a vacuumized wrap transport belt using a single Label-Aire 3015-ND Wipe-On label applicator. As the product sensor detects a bottle on the conveyor, properly-spaced front- and back labels are dispensed onto the vacuum wrap belt and applied to the spinning bottles accurately within ±1/32" (.8 mm) maintaining proper orientation. Round containers are accurately labeled at speeds of up to 60 products per minute. By utilizing the Inline Series 5100 labeling system and combining it with innovative design, Label-Aire has developed an economical method of applying front- and back labels without the need of a second label applicator, further reducing customers' costs.
