April 14, 2009 - Compatible with 48 Vdc and 115 Vac power supplies, CLIMAGUARD outdoor heat exchangers are double-crimped and dip-sealed to prevent harsh environmental elements from entering enclosure. With support for both surface- or recess-mounting, lab- and field-tested units are UL Type 12/3R/4 rated and Telcordia GR-487 capable. Maximum 2,000 W of heater option is available on dc and ac volt heaters, and variable-speed blowers come standard on dc-powered units for noise free operation.

Hoffman Climaguard(TM) Outdoor Heat Exchanger Features Double-Sealed Core for Maximum Leak Protection and Efficient Cooling


Anoka, MN-April 6, 2009-Hoffman announces the CLIMAGUARD(TM) Outdoor Heat Exchanger for versatile and reliable closed-loop cooling. This robust heat exchanger removes up to 3,000 watts of enclosure heat and features a double-crimped and dip-sealed core, allowing efficient thermal transfer while ensuring maximum protection against leaks in harsh outdoor environments. Units can easily be surface- or recess-mounted to an enclosure, while maintaining a tight seal for reliable protection against air and water infiltration.

CLIMAGUARD Outdoor Heat Exchangers are designed to seal out harsh environments, including temperature extremes, corrosive environments and wind-driven rain. These lab- and field-tested units feature a wide range of cooling capacities and meet versatile application requirements. Robust CLIMAGUARD Heat Exchangers are compatible with 48 VDC and 115 VAC power supplies. A maximum 2,000-watt heater option is available on DC and AC volt heaters, and variable-speed blowers come standard on DC-powered units for quiet running.

CLIMAGUARD Outdoor Heat Exchangers are UL Type 12/3R/4 rated and Telcordia GR-487 capable, and every unit is functionally tested. Units are available in a variety of sizes and styles, fast and in-stock. Non-standard models are available upon request.
