Built from ground up for wet, corrosive environments and rough handling, units have pushbutton to silence alarm. Float switch is protected from physical abuse inside pipe, and protected from debris by screen. UL certified to ANSI/UL 913, unit meets NFPA 30A, UL 2244, and UFC requirements.
Rochester, NY, April 4, 2009 - Gizmo Engineering introduces its first Intrinsically Safe liquid level alarm for tanks. Also works well in drums or IBC tote tanks. Battery powered or AC adapter power. It can run for years from battery power as there is zero power drain when the unit is not alarming. Loud pulsing alarm cuts through the loudest industrial noise. Push button feature to silence the alarm.
Because its battery powered, there is no cumbersome and expensive wiring needed. Very easy to install since it comes in any mounting necessary: many sizes of threaded plugs, bolt-on flanges, a flat plate, or bulkhead feedthrough.
