When torque is applied 360° impervious seal is attained, and plastisol flows from under washer and in three directions.

Gaynor Industries announces the availability of a high-strength line of 316 stainless steel, corrosion-resistant sealing washers.

The BarTite sealing washer is designed to withstand 12,000 psi of hydrostatic pressure while locking out moisture, vapors, liquids, chemicals and pressurized air. A 360° impervious seal is attained when torque is applied and plastisol flows from under the washer and in three directions.

The line employs a patented, stable and non-aging plastisol formula resistant to petrochemicals, acids, solvents and salt sprays and bonded to a newly available 316SS washer (previously only available in 303SS).

BarTite sealing washers are suitable for use in filtering, hydraulics, motors and numerous other industrial applications to prevent leakage.
