March 23, 2009 - Available in 3, 4, 5, and 6 in. sizes for OD and ID clamping applications, manually actuated Production Milling Chucks integrate with tombstones and pallets for machining centers, milling machines, and grinders. They are clamped and unclamped on top face, enabling more chucks to be ganged together. Chucks feature 2 stage clamping; fast initial jaw stroke for large opening and primary stage to provide high clamping force.

MicroCentric Introduces Production Milling Chucks


Plainview, NY March 19, 2009... MicroCentric Corp. has introduced Production Milling Chucks chucks, a low profile manually actuated concentric clamping system to integrate with tombstones and pallets for machining centers, milling machines and grinders,
providing the ultimate in high productivity and high precision workholding. PMC chucks are to clamped and unclamped on the top face enabling more chucks to be ganged together compared to side actuated models. The chucks feature two stage clamping:
fast initial jaw stroke for large opening and primary stage to provide high clamping force.

PMC chucks are available in 3", 4" 5" and 6" sizes, 3 and 2 jaw configurations for OD
and ID clamping applications. They are manufactured by MicroCentric and available from stock.

MicroCentric manufactures a full line of precision jaw chucks, diaphragm chucks, quick-change collet chucks. MicroCentric also specializes in designing and manufacturing hardened and precision ground top jaws, part stops, and other tooling for specific machine and workpiece applications.
