DeltaTRAK Introduces New Jumbo Display Probe Thermometer with Auto-Calibration
PLEASANTON, CA - (March 17, 2009) - DeltaTRAK®, Inc., a leading innovator of cold chain management solutions and food safety products is introducing a new and improved jumbo display thermometer. The model #11060 thermometer is distinguished by a patented auto-calibration feature that allows users to quickly and easily calibrate the instrument using only a cup of ice water. This NSF certified thermometer will be available in early April.
Calibration of these jumbo display thermometers is extremely simple. The user mixes an ice water solution, submerges the thermometer probe in the ice water, and then presses the calibration button for 2 seconds. Everything from here is fully automated, and in seconds, the thermometer will be calibrated to the 32°F/0°C reference.
The model 11060, specifically designed for food safety applications, has a reduced tip probe that provides 300% faster response time when compared to comparable models. It can be set to read Fahrenheit or Centigrade scale and comes standard with a probe cover for transport and safety. This thermometer is waterproof, NSF certified, RoHS compliant, N.I.S.T. traceable, and has the CE mark.
