Targeting entry-level industrial control market, BOXER Lite Series model AEC-6410 is built with AMD Geode(TM) LX800 processor up to 500 MHz and up to 512 MB of DDR 400 SODIMM system memory. Unit offers two 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports, as well as 4 USB 2.0, 2 COM, one printer, one audio function, and one VGA port expansion. Low power consuming device also features one onboard Compact Flash slot.
AAEON Releases New BOXER Lite Embedded Controller - AEC-6410
Taipei Taiwan (Mar. 16, 2009) - AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, has launched a new Embedded Controller- AEC-6410, which is part of the AAEON BOXER Lite series. The AEC-6410 targets the entry-level industrial control market, often requiring lower costs and fewer functions. The debut of the AEC-6410 completes the AAEON BOXER product line that represents features at a cost effective rate. The AEC-6410 also conforms to the market trend of being environmentally safe and performs with low power consumption.
The AEC-6410 is built with the AMD Geode(TM) LX800 processor (up to 500MHz) and up to 512MB of DDR 400 SODIMM system memory. The fanless and compact design makes the AEC-6410 an ideal low power system for any embedded project. In addition, the AEC-6410 offers flexible I/O interfaces and expansion slots that provides users cost-saving solutions to expand their existing systems. The unit features two 10/100Base-TX Ethernet ports as well as four USB 2.0, two COM, one printer, an audio function, and one VGA port expansion. The AEC-6410 also features one onboard Compact Flash slot for system boot demand.
