Delivering 12 Vdc output, PSA12A-120-R and PSA12E-120-R 12 W wall-mount adapters are designed for use in USA and Europe respectively. They are double insulated, Class B EMI compliant, and have no-load power consumption of less than 0.3 W. Protected against over-voltage and short-circuit, products can operate in temperature range of 0-40°C and can tolerate up to 90% humidity. Applications include wireless communications, networking, portable equipment, and peripherals.

FREMONT, Calif. -(March 11, 2009)- Phihong, a global leader in power solutions, is expanding its adapter line to include two 12W fixed-prong, wall-mount adapters for OEM applications, both of which are ENERGY STARŪ EPS 2.0-compliant. Designated the PSA12A-120-R and the PSA12E-120-R, the 12VDC-output adapters have been designed for use in the United States and Europe, respectively, and are ideal for wireless communications, networking, portable equipment, and peripheral applications.

The PSA12A-120-R and the PSA12E-120-R are double-insulated and feature Class B EMI compliance, as well as a no-load power consumption of <0.3W. The adapters are rated to operate between 0 degrees and 40 degrees C and can tolerate up to 90% relative humidity. They also feature over-voltage and short-circuit protection. Additionally, the PSA12A-120-R bears cULus, PSE, and BSMI safety approvals, while the PSA12E-120-R bears TUV and CE approvals.
The PSA12A-120-R adapter measures 2.81 inches in length by 1.33 inches in width, stands 2.74 inches high, including the AC input prongs, and weighs three ounces. The PSA12E-120-R adapter measures 2.81 inches in length by 1.33 inches in width, stands 3.28 inches high, including the AC input prongs, and weighs three ounces. Both adapters are terminated with a 2.1mm by 5.5mm DC output barrel connector.
