New High Frequency Charge Mode Pressure Sensor

Chatsworth, CA - March 2, 2009 - Dytran Instruments, Inc. has released a new series of pressure transducers. The 2301C series probe-type pressure sensors are designed to measure very fast pressure transients such as those encountered in the field blast and shock tube applications. These sensors feature 1 micro second rise times and acceleration compensation along with a very high natural frequency to minimize ringing induced by very fast rise time inputs.

The 2301C series pressure sensors are hermetically sealed, have a sensitivity of 0.35 pC/psi and consist of 6 different full scale range models, from 100 psi to 15,000 psi. They feature a lightweight titanium housing and a slender probe configuration with external clamp nut. The 2301C sensors are operational in temperatures up to +500°F.
