March 5, 2009 - Available from 14 Ga to 4/O, RoyalŽ / TriangleŽ brand bare copper wires are made from Electrolytic Tough Pitch copper feed stock and manufactured to ASTM standards B3 (Soft or Annealed), B8 (Concentric-Lay), or B787 (Combination Unilay). Products are suited for use in overhead transmission and distribution systems and for grounding grid systems. They are also available in 3,000, 1,000 or 500 foot reels.

Coleman Cable Now Offers Bare Copper Wire in Convenient Contractor Packs


WAUKEGAN, Ill. (February 12, 2009) - Coleman Cable, Inc. (Nasdaq: CCIX) expands its packaging options to include 25 pound contractor packs for RoyalŽ / TriangleŽ brand Bare Copper Wire.

"This convenient package allows portability and easy payoff from virtually any dispensing system," said Eric Corzine, product manager at Coleman Cable. "The durable, space saving design allows the contractor with a limited storage area a way to maximize inventory while meeting the restrictions of space."

Coleman Cable's Triangle brand of solid and stranded, soft annealed bare copper conductors are available from 14 gauge to 4/O. These conductors are made from Electrolytic Tough Pitch (ETP) copper feed stock and manufactured to ASTM standards B3 (Soft or Annealed), B8 (Concentric-Lay), or B787 (Combination Unilay). Bare Copper Wire is used in overhead transmission and distribution systems and for grounding grid systems. In addition to the new 25 pound contractor packs, this product is stocked in 3,000, 1,000 or 500 foot reels (depending on gauge size) and customer specified packaging upon request.
