Delivering triple display output, WADE-8046 has two 200-pin DIMMs to support dual channel DDR2 SO-DIMM up to 4 GB, 2 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 expansion PCI-Express slot, and 1 Mini PCI Express socket. WADE-8065 offers 3 Gigabit Ethernet ports to provide wide bandwidth necessary for communications or network related applications, 2 COM ports and 6 USB ports, and expansion via 1 PCI slot. Intel 945GME chipset-based, low power units suit applications such as industrial automation and control.

Portwell Expands Its Portfolio of Intel 945GME Chipset-Based Mini-ITX Embedded System Boards
WADE-8046 Delivers Triple Display Output
WADE-8065 Includes Three Gigabit Ethernet Ports
FREMONT, CALIF. -- February 24, 2008 -- American Portwell Technology, Inc., (http://www.portwell.com) a wholly owned subsidiary of Portwell, Inc., a world-leading innovator in the embedded computing market and a member of the Intel® Embedded and Communications Alliance (Intel ECA), announces WADE-8046 and WADE-8065, two additions to its portfolio of Intel 945GME chipset-based Mini-ITX embedded systems boards. WADE-8046 and WADE-8065 utilize a wide selection of Intel mobile CPUs including Core(TM) 2 Duo, Core Duo, Core Solo and Celeron® M to provide high performance and low power consumption solutions in applications such as medical, gaming, lottery machines, digital signage, kiosk/POS, industrial automation, industrial control, security and communications appliances.
Triple Display
"WADE-8046, featuring multi-display function and low power consumption, is a Mini-ITX embedded board with two 200-pin DIMMs to support dual channel DDR2 SO-DIMM up to 4 GB, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, one expansion PCI-Express x1 slot and one Mini PCI Express socket," explains Jimmy Chang, American Portwell Technology's product marketing manager. "Not only can it maximize Intel Celeron up to mobile Core 2 Duo processor technology, but it also includes the facility to provide triple display output: dual display via VGA/ LVDS/DVI and a third display via a PCI-Express x1 graphic card. WADE-8046 uses CompactFlash®, IDE and SATA to handle storage and includes four COM ports and eight USB ports for external connectivity. Both WADE-8046 and WADE-8065 support a variety of operating systems including Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded, Windows XP, Windows Vista®, Windows CE and Linux®," Chang adds.
"The new WADE-8065 is a network bandwidth-enriched solution with a low power consumption mobile processor that not only provides more than adequate computing muscle but also eliminates potential heat issues. WADE-8065 shares many features with WADE-8046 such as DDR2 memory and CompactFlash, IDE and SATA for storage but offers three Gigabit Ethernet ports-to provide the wide bandwidth necessary for communications or network related applications-two COM ports and six USB ports and expansion via one PCI slot," confirms Chang. "Dual video outputs are available via VGA/LVDS, VGA/DVI and LVDS/DVI, and supported by an integrated Intel GMA 950 Graphics Media Accelerator to enhance graphic performance."
