March 2, 2009 - Advanced dynamic mechanical rheological test instrument, RPA 8000 Rubber Process Analyzer can measure properties of polymer and rubber compounds prior to, while, and after curing. It has range of oscillation angle, oscillation frequency, torque, and temperature, and can read differences in rheological, rheometric and dynamic viscoelastic properties of tested material. Compliant with ASTM D6204, D5289 and D6601, product includes software with pre programmed test methods.

Rubber Process Analyzer - RPA 8000

Qualitest presents the RPA 8000 Rubber Process Analyzer. The RPA 8000 is an advanced dynamic mechanical rheological test instrument designed to measure the properties of polymer and rubber compounds before, during and after the cure. The RPA 8000 features an impressive range in oscillation angle, oscillation frequency, torque and temperature.

The RPA 8000 has many advantages over traditional rubber test methods due to the ability to test under conditions of variable strain frequency and temperature which reveal important differences in rheological, rheometric and dynamic viscoelastic properties. The versatility of this instrument allows for polymers and compounds to be comprehensively characterized, especially in terms of intrinsic material properties, processability characteristics and end product performance.

This advanced Rubber Process Analyzer meets the full range of testing requirements of the rubber and polymer manufacturing process and complies with ASTM D6204, D5289 and D6601. Common application areas are; incoming polymer and raw material characterization, master batch testing, final and cured compound testing.

The included software has pre programmed test methods allowing the user to rapidly exploit this powerful rubber process analyzer. The advanced software control eliminates operator interference from the time that the sample is loaded until the test sequence is complete and required data collected.
