MarkŪ 800 series and MarkŪ 900 series of mixed metal liquid stabilizer additives for PVC that free of ptBBA (para-tertiarybutyl benzoic acid), nonyl phenol, and 2-EHA (2-ethyl hexanoic acid). Substances have been successfully pre-registered under REACH and do not contain any components which may be subject to authorization such as carcinogenic, mutagenic, or reprotoxic (CMR) materials.

Chemtura Launches New Mixed Metal Stabilizers Free of ptBBA, Nonyl Phenol and 2-EHA
MIDDLEBURY, Conn. -- Chemtura (NYSE: CEM) announces the launch of their new, MarkŪ mixed metal, liquid stabilizer range of additives for PVC that are free of ptBBA (para-tertiarybutyl benzoic acid), nonyl phenol and 2-EHA (2-ethyl hexanoic acid). The substances in our mixed metals have been successfully pre-registered under REACH and do not contain any components which may be subject to authorization such as carcinogenic, mutagenic or reprotoxic (CMR) materials.
The new stabilizers will be available in two ranges, the MarkŪ 800 series and MarkŪ 900 series. Designed to perform in applications where traditional liquid mixed metals are currently used, these new ranges are the latest contribution to Chemtura's "Greener is Better" theme in new product development. This means that the new mixed metal stabilizers have been screened to ensure they are more sustainable additive solutions than the products they replace. MarkŪ 800 and MarkŪ 900 products complement Chemtura's existing REACH friendly stabilizer ranges such as the MarkŪ OBS, MarkŪ EZ and MarkŪ CZ series.
