With ability to handle manage 120, 230, or 277 V loads up to 16 A, CLS-EXP-DIMU universal dimmer expansion module enables Crestron iLux(TM) integrated lighting systems and lighting dimmers to add reverse phase type loads. Five expansion modules can be connected to single iLux dimmer channel. Wall-mountable unit supports both forward and reverse phase type loads, including electronic low-voltage, magnetic low-voltage, incandescent, neon/cold cathode, or 2-wire dimmable fluorescent.

Universal Dimmer Expands Lighting Control for Wide-Range of Voltages and Larger Capacity
ROCKLEIGH, NJ, January 27, 2009 - The CLS-EXP-DIMU universal dimmer expansion module is the latest addition to the Crestron Green Light(TM) family of environmental controls. The CLS-EXP-DIMU enables Crestron iLux(TM) integrated lighting systems and other Crestron lighting dimmers to add reverse phase type loads. It also supports larger loads and a wider range of voltages.
The CLS-EXP-DIMU simplifies installation by auto-detecting the dimmable load type and selecting the appropriate operating mode to control that load. It supports both forward and reverse phase type loads, including electronic low-voltage, magnetic low-voltage, incandescent, neon/cold cathode, or 2-wire dimmable fluorescent.
A single model manages 120, 230, or 277 volt loads up to 16 amps, and as many as five expansion modules can be connected to a single iLux dimmer channel.
The CLS-EXP-DIMU is wall-mountable, and is also plenum-rated for installation above a suspended ceiling.
