Heavy Duty Flow Control Valves operate in harsh conditions.
January 23, 2009 -
Heavy duty flow control valves add auxiliary hydraulic power to work tools and attachments to maximize machine utility without modifying machine's directional control valve. Zinc-plated steel bodies and IP69 rated coils enable use in severe operating conditions. Three-way configuration: 1 inlet and 2 outlet ports for priority and by-pass flow, allowing for simultaneous operation, independent of working pressures, of both hydraulic actuator and normal functions of machine.
Heavy Duty Flow Control Valves Add Hydraulic Power to Mobile Work Tools
New heavy duty flow control valves from Bosch Rexroth add auxiliary hydraulic power to work tools and attachments to maximize machine utility. Rugged construction makes the valves ideally suited to harsh environments.
(Bethlehem, PA - www.boschrexroth-us.com) Heavy duty priority flow control valves from Bosch Rexroth provide a simple and efficient way to supply auxiliary hydraulic power to mobile work tools and attachments, such as hydraulic impact hammers, compactors, saws and cold planers. The valves can be added to any existing hydraulic system to maximize machine utility without the need to modify a machine's directional control valve. The valves feature zinc-plated steel bodies and IP69 rated coils that can perform in the most severe operating conditions of mining and heavy industry and are ideal for applications such as earth moving machines, loaders and excavators.
Rexroth's priority flow control valves, also called "hammer valves," are now available for single pump, double pump or load sensing, and can be used with any attachment or application where precision flow meets severe service or high vibration. Hammer valves feature 3-way configuration: one pump inlet port and two outlet ports for priority and by-pass flow, allowing for simultaneous operation, independent of working pressures, of both the hydraulic actuator and the normal functions of the machine. The valves' unique mounting hole arrangement reduces stress on moving parts from possible misalignment and minimizes the risk of malfunction.
Bosch Rexroth AG, part of the Bosch Group, achieved sales of approximately $7.4 billion (5.4 billion Euros) in 2007 with nearly 33,000 employees. Under the brand name of Rexroth the company offers all drive and control technologies, from mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics to electronics and associated service. Over 500,000 customers worldwide utilize Rexroth's unique technological know-how to implement their innovative and future-oriented systems and machine concepts.
