Mark-10 introduces their new Series CTA Digital Cap Torque Testers, presenting a simple, accurate, and economical solution for manual cap torque testing. These testers are ideal for lab or production use for closure manufacturers, bottlers, food and beverage companies, and others. The CTA captures peak readings for application and removal torques. Data output via RS-232 and Mitutoyo enable reporting and analysis of test data via PC or other data collector. Adjustable posts effectively grip a broad range of container shapes and sizes, while a set of flat rubber-edged jaws are available for unique profiles. Innovative mechanical overload protection provides peace of mind.
Three torque capacities are available: 12 lbin (135 Ncm), 50 lbin (570 Ncm), and 100 lbin (1150 Ncm). The tester includes a set of four adjustable sample gripping posts, AC adapter, 9V battery, user's guide, and NIST-traceable certificate of calibration. The CTA is designed and manufactured in the United States and is covered by a 3-year warranty.
