Watson-Marlow's Flexicon Filling Systems are Ideal for Clinical Trial Scale Batch and Plugging

Watson-Marlow's compact Flexicon FPC50 filling machine offers accuracy, flexibility and efficiency

Watson-Marlow, the leading manufacturer of peristaltic filling systems and capping equipment for the pharmaceutical, bio-technology and diagnostic industries, offers its Flexicon FPC50, an operator-friendly, fully-automated filling and plugging system that offers accuracy, flexibility for aseptic filling, capping in clinical trials and scale-up applications.

The compact Flexicon FPC50 filling and capping system handles filling requirements for clinical trials and medium batch productions. For operator convenience, the Flexicon FPC50 system can also accommodate a wide range of vial sizes and neck finishes without the need of extra format parts. Additionally, the Flexicon FPC50 can employ a changeover of the single-use fluid path, which includes pharmaceutical grade silicone tubing and plastic filling needles, to adapt to multiple batch processes or different product fill volumes.

The system is equipped with an automated precision turntable infeed, an in-line filling station, and a rubber plug closure applicator that is capable of filling and capping vials at rates up to 25 vpm.

Watson-Marlow's Flexicon products specialize in accurate peristaltic dispensing for aseptic, diagnostic and ophthalmic filling applications. The full product range includes benchtop dispensers for liquids and viscous products, semi-automatic filling and capping machines, fully automated fillers and OEM peristaltic dispensing systems.
