November 5, 2008 - AXIOMTEK's eBOX830-831-DC-FL, a fanless and expandable embedded computer, is powered by a low power Intel® Celeron® M processor and equipped with an ATX100W DC power supply (10VDC to 30VDC input) via Phoenix plug, making it easier applied in a wider range of environments. Incorporating Intel® 945GME Express chipset with the Intel® GMA 950 graphics core, the eBOX830-831-DC-FL offers excellent graphics performance and multiple I/O features like six USB 2.0, four COM ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two IEEE 1394a, and audio. Otherwise, the eBOX830-831-DC-FL has reserved one PCI slot for consideration of expansion and upgrade. The all-in-one embedded box PC is especially suitable for industrial automation, AOI/DVR, and media display devices.
Without a fan and enclosed in an extremely rugged aluminum housing only 300 x 210 x 104.5 mm (11.81in. x 8.27in. x 4.11in.) in size, this compact embedded system can be applied in space-limited harsh environments. Moreover, the unique anti-vibration design (1Grms with HDD), excellent system thermal solution (operation temperature: 0°C ~ 45°C with wide temperature HDD), and maintenance-free system design empowered the eBOX830-831-DC-FL to operate extreme reliable in heavy-duty industrial fields.
The eBOX830-831-DC-FL supports one 2.5in. hard disk for high-capacity storage and two DDR2 400MHz DIMM sockets up to 4GB system memory. This durable embedded computer offers rich I/O connections including six high speed USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, two PS/2 connectors, two Firewire (IEEE 1394a), VGA, and audio. Additionally, the eBOX830-831-DC-FL supports various embedded operating systems including Windows® CE, Windows® XP Embedded (XPE), and Linux. Additionally, the built-in Watchdog Timer keeps system running smoothly.
