Ribbed Connector Caps protect PT/M26482 connectors.

Designed for use in extreme weather conditions, PT connector caps are ribbed and feature arctic coupling nut to provide good grip when used with gloved hands and also feature ¼-turn locking with audible click. Caps are available in sizes 8-18 along with numerous cord lengths and fixing rings. Sizes 20-24 are also available upon request. Finishes include olive green cadmium and black/green zinc cobalt.

SANTA ANA, CA - December 15, 2008 - ITT Interconnect Solutions, a leading global manufacturer and supplier of connectors, interconnects, and cable assemblies, has developed protection caps for its PT/M26482 connectors. The full range of connector caps are designed for reliability and ease-of-use in extreme conditions, making them ideal for applications such as military communications and vehicles, commercial electronics in exposed environments and off-road vehicles.
"The PT connector caps are ribbed and feature an arctic coupling nut to provide a better grip when used with gloved hands than standard knurled finished versions," said Keith Teichmann, director of marketing for ITT Interconnect Solutions. "The connector caps also feature a quarter-turn locking with audible click, providing additional reliability for the end-user."
The PT connector caps meet all M26482-style connectors and layouts, and are compatible with panel mount, jam nut receptacles and plug variants. The caps are available in sizes eight through 18 from ITT's distribution partners, along with numerous cord lengths and fixing rings. Sizes 20 to 24 are also available upon request. The connector caps are available in olive green cadmium and black/green zinc cobalt finishes.
