Triple Offset Valve is designed for process industry.
November 4, 2008 -
Based on torque sealing-friction free sealing design, TT2 triple offset valve features ellipsoidal sealing geometry that ensures zero leakage and bubble-tight shut-off. It has fire safe certification to API607 4th edition, as well as fully field-replaceable seat and seal design. Available in wafer, lugged and double flanged type body styles to 150 and 300 lb pressure ratings, valve is inherently safe for high risk industry applications.

Newport, UK - 18th September 2008 - Tomoe, a world leader in the development of butterfly valves and actuation and control systems, has launched a new, next generation triple offset process valve, the TT2. Following an extensive research and development programme, this new valve further extends the Tomoe range of process valves that continues to revolutionise the piping design sector in the process industry.
The TT2 triple offset valve is based on the proven torque sealing-friction free sealing design, as with the other valves in the TT series, but also features the latest advanced technology and improved performance including ellipsoidal sealing geometry that guarantees zero leakage and bubble-tight shut-off.
"Following significant R&D investment, we have developed this versatile, reliable and cost effective valve solution for all process applications," said Willie Duncan, managing director at Tomoe. "The result has a much longer life cycle, and is extremely compact, smaller and lighter than the traditional ball, globe and gate valves for challenging applications where space and height are key factors."
It has been stringently tested and, with a fire safe certification to API607 4th edition, is designed to meet the high performance demands of applications where long life and positive shut-off under arduous conditions is essential. Ideal for all process applications, Tomoe's new valve has a fully field-replaceable seat and seal design and is extremely proficient in increasing plant efficiency and minimising running costs.
