Excelsys Technologies introduces the XCE 1450W modular power supply. This latest addition to the Xgen family of 1U power supplies measures just 10.55 x 5.00 x 1.59" offering 1340 Watts Continuous / 1450 Watts peak power with efficiencies up to 90%.
The ultra-high efficiencies and high power-density of the XCE Power Supplies is made possible through the combination of the latest low loss technologies, planar magnetics and surface mount technologies reducing thermal loads by more than 50%. The XCE "powerPac" chassis can be populated with up to 6 off the shelf 25~200 Watt "powerMod" output modules offering single or dual outputs ranging 1.0~59 VDC. All outputs are isolated with ultra-wide adjustment ranges and can be connected in series or parallel to achieve any output voltage between 1.0 - 59VDC. The "powerPac" chassis and "PowerMod" modules carry independent safety approvals enabling field-configuration while maintaining UL/cUL60950-1, EN60950-1 Safety Approvals. All configurations feature 5VSB, power good LED indicators and individual output module control signals. Medical versions of XCE are also available.
Evaluation units and kits are available immediate delivery with production lead time up to 8 weeks. Complete specifications are available for download from http://www.excelsys.com as well as an easy to use "EXCELerate" on-line configurator.
