Offering dry contact I/O solution to any Notebook PC, model IA-2522 provides 2 change-over type output relays that can control any desired electric or electronic appliances, as well as monitor electric or electronic events. Portable device is powered through USB Port, and features 3 digital inputs that may be used both for status monitoring and event counting.
The new USB module, IA-2522 provides a refreshing product style, adding the most simple "dry contact" I/O solution to any Notebook PC. It provides 2 output relays that can control any desired electric or electronic appliances, as well as monitor electric or electronic events. Moreover, it includes 3 "event counters" that provides an additional monitoring level.
Operation is as simple and easy as always. The new USB method makes no difference to the programmer or the operator. All available serial programs (RS-232 and RS-485) shall operate this new IA-2522 device as if it was connected to the PC through an RS-232 or RS-485 port.
Special Features:
1. Portable.
2. No need for power supply (powered by the USB Port).
3. The IA-2522 is connected to the PC through a USB port while operated as an RS-232 device. (The RS-232 is one of the easiest ways available to control a device, while USB ports are the most common available ones. The IA-2522-U combines these two assumptions).
4. Thanks to its dual relays and triple digital inputs, controlling and monitoring external devices by the IA-2522-U is fast and simple.
5. The IA-2522-U 3 digital inputs may be used both for status monitoring and event counting.
6. The IA-2522-U relays are of "Change Over" type, known as 'Form C'. Company Information: Name: Intelligent Appliance Address: P.O.B. 928 City: Netanya State: IL ZIP: 42140 Country: USA Phone: 972-833-3022 http://www.intelligent-appliance.com
