With floating ball design that facilitates low-torque operation, API 3000 and 6000 Class Ball Valves have max working pressure of 6,000 psi (per API 598) with 0.38-1.50 in. port sizes. Units come in selection of tube, pipe, and flanged end connections, and can be constructed to satisfy NACE MR-01-75 specifications for corrosion protection. Body and end flanges are available in stainless steel and duplex steel, while seals come with PEEK seats for chemical, heat, and wear resistance.

ERIE, PA - Innovative Pressure Technologies (IPT) introduces API 3000 and 6000 Class Ball Valves. A floating ball design facilitates smooth, low-torque operation ideal for use in instrument air lines, high pressure instrument lines, automated service with actuator, and general plant service applications. These ball valves deliver maximum working pressure to 6000 PSI (414 bar) per API 598 with 0.38 in. to 1.50 in. port sizes.
IPT API 3000 & 6000 Class Ball Valves feature a blow-out proof stem for increased safety. They are 100% tested to API-598, or contract requirements, to ensure quick start up and high performance operation. Full and reduced port designs are available, as is a fire-safe version.
These ball valves are available in a wide selection of tube, pipe and flanged end connections, and can be constructed to satisfy NACE MR-01-75 specifications for corrosion protection. Body and end flanges are available in stainless steel and duplex steel. Seals come standard with PEEK seats for excellent chemical, heat and wear resistance, and NBR Buna-N o-rings for reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -35°F to 250°F (-37°C to 121°C). Other seal materials are available for extreme service environments.
