November 6, 2008 - With current ratings ranging from 1-63 A, NDB2 UL 1077 miniature circuit breakers feature visual color-coded trip indicator, shock proof screw clamp connections, and are RoHs compliant. They include high current versions for protection up to 125 A and dc rated styles in both 1- and 2-pole. DIN rail-mountable units come in 18 mm footprint and come in 1-, 2-, or 3-pole in industry standard B, C, and D trip curves, all with a 10 kA interrupt capacity.

ASI New Line of MCB's Offer UL 1077 Supplemental Protection


Mechanicsburg, PA - Automation Systems Interconnect, Inc. is pleased to announce a new line of DIN rail mounted miniature circuit breakers that are UL1077 Recognized for use as supplemental protectors.

The new circuit breaker product line includes standard UL 1077 supplemental protectors with ratings ranging from 1 amp to 63 amps, high current versions for protection up to 125 amps and DC rated styles in both one and two pole. The standard NDB2 series can be ordered in one, two or three pole in industry standard B, C and D trip curves, all with a 10kA interrupt capacity. In addition to being 300% tested at the factory the NDB2 UL 1077 miniature circuit breakers feature a visual color-coded trip indicator, shock proof screw clamp connections and are all RoHs compliant. The 18mm footprint makes them an ideal drop-in replacement for most industry standard circuit breakers. A wide range of accessories including busbars, ground fault protectors, auxiliary contacts, alarm contacts and shunt releases can also be ordered.

With the addition of the NDB2 UL 1077 miniature circuit breakers, ASI now offers one of the broadest selections of circuit breakers for industrial applications now available on the market. The selection now includes standard, high density, high current, AC and DC, ground fault protectors, UL 1077 and UL 489, supplemental and branch circuit protectors. A new catalog has just been released which includes information on this new line and the complete selection of circuit breakers from ASI.
