October 24, 2008 - Offered on 4 mil red HDPE release liner, Duofoam S4032-PE, S4016-PE, and S4008-PE white polyethylene foam tapes have 1/32, 1/16, and 1/8 in. foam carriers, respectively. They are suited for bonding, mounting, cushioning, gasketing, spacing, and sound attenuation applications. Double coated with pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive system, tapes can conform to irregular surfaces, provide thermal insulation properties, and perform in range of temperatures.

Conformable, Double Coated Foam Tapes for Bonding, Gasketing and Sound Attenuation


Windsor, Connecticut - October 9, 2008 - Scapa North America has introduced Duofoam' S4032-PE, S4016-PE, and S4008-PE, double coated white polyethylene foam tapes supplied on a 4 mil red HDPE release liner. These products are ideal for bonding, mounting, cushioning, gasketing, spacing and sound attenuation applications

Double coated with a pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive system, these Duofoam products are highly conformable to irregular surfaces and provide excellent long-term aging and environmental durability. They die cut easily, provide good thermal insulation properties, and perform well in a wide range of temperatures. All three products offer high load bearing capabilities.

Duofoam S4032-PE has a 1/32 of an inch foam carrier; Duofoam S4016-PE a 1/16 of an inch; and Duofoam S4008-PE a 1/8 of an inch.
