American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8 Camera and Lens Options for Low Light Sensitivity
San Diego, CA November 3, 2008 Audio Video Supply, Inc, a San Diego distributor first in CCTV Security, has introduced the new American Dynamics SpeedDome Ultra 8 Camera from its new product line.
The SpeedDome Ultra 8 features powerful zoom capabilities with its 22x and 35x series cameras. All SpeedDome Ultra 8 cameras support NTCIP protocol and are designed specifically for the transportation market.
The 22x series delivers first-rate color images in scenes as dim as .02 lux. This series of camera also offers advanced programmable features such as advanced on-screen text, automatic home positioning, dome usage statistics, digital slow shutter (DSS), freeze frame on presets to conserve digital recorder hard drive space, and up to eight privacy zones giving you the flexibility to protect confidential areas or respect personal privacy. The 22x series zoom ability consists of a 22x optical and 11x digital zoom for 242x total zoom.
The 35x series camera presents the highest performance with 540TVL. Like the 22x series camera the 35x offers wide dynamic range (WDR), DSS, electric image stabilization (EIS), automatic gain control (AGC), and a removable infrared (IR) cut filter providing precised viewing in lighting conditions as low as .00041 lux in black and white mode. The 35x series consists of 35x optical zoom with 12x digital zoom for 420x total zoom.
The SpeedDome Ultra 8 is equipped with advanced control and positioning, supporting up to 96 present positions with user-defined titles and 16 present sequences with a 10-minute dwell time for vital viewing flexibility. Sixteen patterns are maintained with a preprogrammed default spiral pan pattern ("apple peel") allowing full coverage of the entire viewing area. Zoom adjusted programming (ZAP) automatically adjusts pan and tilt speeds in proportion to the zoom position, even when reached maximum magnification and contains continuous auto focus providing the clearest of images during full ranges of motion.
