The ShrinkSet TMM, one of Parlec's most recent product advancements, offers users a powerful and efficient dual-manufacturing solution, combining tool presetting, measuring and qualifying, with leading-edge heat shrink technology.
The high performance heat shrink system is equipped with the advanced features and functionality of Parlec's best-selling presetting platform, the Series 1500, including ParleVision PSC, Parlec's latest high-precision video measuring technology and PGC Plus 6., Parlec's complete tool data management and communication software.
The ShrinkSet TMM system provides users with a three-step process: assemble and cool the tool, certify the tool assembly and process the tool data. All three steps can be performed using a simple and intuitive user interface displayed on a large LCD touch screen monitor.
The fully integrated ShrinkSet TMM comes with various standard features, including Parlec's Cool-to-the-Core(TM) technology, which cools and dries an entire tool in less than two minutes, allowing for immediate tool use and more rapid production. Parlec has also included its Precision Spindle Slide Immersion system, which eliminates the need for operators to handle hot tools directly, reducing the likelihood of contact burns and other injuries.
Additional system features include automatic coil positioning, 10 KW frequency generator, water bath for tool cooling, tool tray, and label printer with configurable formats.
The ShrinkSet TMM is effective on tool diameters from 4 mm to 32 mm. Optional accessories include a quick change large diameter induction head for tool diameters from 32 mm to 50 mm, and heat shrink setting adapters for use on tools with backup screws.
