Lithography System features microfluidics research option.

SF-100 XTREME maskless photolithography system utilizes Smart Filter technology, which incorporates micro-optical techniques to rapidly project master images directly onto diverse substrate materials. Microfluidics Research Option test capabilities include varying excitation and emissions spectra, allowing for gray scale spatial illumination and fluorescence imaging and measuring particles in flow, including creating particle image velocimetry like conditions.

Intelligent Micro Patterning, LLC Announces New Product: The Microfluidics Research Option on the SF-100 XTREME
Intelligent Micro Patterning, LLC, St. Petersburg, Florida, announced a new product today, the Microfluidics Research Option (MRO) on the SF-100 XTREME maskless lithography system.
The SF-100 XTREME system supports microlithography for micropatterning of features as small as 1 micron in size. The SF-100 XTREME is a unique, maskless photolithography system that utilizes patented Smart Filter technology, licensed by Intelligent Micro Patterning, LLC from the University of South Florida. Smart Filter technology incorporates proprietary, cutting-edge, micro-optical techniques to rapidly project master images directly onto diverse substrate materials. The SF-100 XTREME MRO utilizes all of the standard features of an SF-100 XTREME and then provides additional features such as substrate temperature control, a modified substrate stage for microfluidic device testing, and additional light filtering for further analysis capabilities.

Using this option, the microfludics researcher can now fabricate and then characterize microfluidics devices on a single platform.
