Rochester, NY, September 2008 - Parlec, Inc., a worldwide leader in tooling, workholding, and presetting solutions, unveiled the Series 1800 TMM, one of its latest advancements in tool presetting technology, at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS). The Series 1800 combines the features and capabilities of Parlec's best selling presetter, the Series 1500 TMMŪ, with an simplified user interface, durable steel cabinet and a number of advanced features.
The 1800 comes equipped with ParleVision PSC, Parlec's latest high-precision video measuring technology, and over fifteen measuring, presetting and qualifying routines, all of which can be executed with the push of a button. Other user-friendly features include a precision roller-bearing spindle with vacuum clamping; a LED ring light for clear tool surface inspection; the duel-axis fine adjust system; storage for up to 500 tool assemblies and 99 calibrations or offset coordinates; and a large touch screen monitor.
