CHATSWORTH, Calif., Sept. 16 -- SANYO, the best-selling brand of portable navigation systems in Japan*, has introduced the Easy Street NVM-4370, a new, fully featured model designed for the U.S. market.

Featuring one of the thinnest bodies on the market (at less than .72 inches), the SANYO Easy Street NVM-4370 offers a large, 4.3-inch/16:9 Touch Screen; true Text-to-Speech ("Turn left on Main Street"); Turn and Next Turn indicators ("Turn right on First Street, then take the first right on Foothill Road") with color coding (Green for Interstate, Orange for Surface Street); 3D Junction View to indicate the correct lane to take when approaching a multiple freeway interchange; a Final Destination indicator; and the ability to repeat the last voice command by touching the onscreen turn indicator.

The feature-rich NVM-4370 also features 7-million Points Of Interest with Advanced Search (i.e. Near Location, Along Route, By Category); Fully enabled Bluetooth with the ability to use your mobile phone hands free; built-in FM Transmitter to enable MP3 music, mobile phone calls (via Bluetooth equipped mobile phone) or directions through your car stereo system; Backup Camera (Video) input; MPEG-4 Video Player; JPEG Photo Viewer; and MP3 Music Player.
