Tucson, Arizona - Otek Corp. has introduced its Model HI-QTBS Programmable Intelligent Controller inside an Explosion Proof Housing approved for Class I, II & III, CENELEC, EEx and NEMA 4, 7 & 9 for application Requirements in the Petrochemical,Ordinance, Mining, Pharmaceutical, Semiconductor and Biomedical Industries. The New "EP" Case can withstand steam temperatures up to 250 °F and is panel, pipe or wall mount. Other cases Available: "Sanitary" to 2500F and standard switchboard plastic or metal.
The Controller's bright display is very visible through the high temperature window. The HI-QTBS features 101 Automatic Tricolor Bargraphs that changes color as the signal changes (Programmable) and 6 digit Display with 6 alarm annunciators, RS232/422/485 I/O, analog (2) and Relays (4) outputs, power inputs of 5, 8-32VDC or 90-265VAC and signal inputs for V/mADC and True RMS, TC, RTD, Strain-gage, 4-20mA, OHMS, ORP, pH, Event, Time and Hz.
The 18 bit ADC gives a stable 6 digit reading with a 0.0001% resolution. The powerful math functions, polynomials and X-Y Tables are all configurable via the serial port or keypad.
Some applications are for Serial Remote Display/Controller for PLC, SCADA, DCS or Stand Alone for up to 3 Variables such as V/A/W, Pressure/Flow/Volume, Temperature/Humidity/Time, pH/ORP/Level and many more.
Up to 3 signals are accepted and their mathematical product is displayed on the bargraph or digital or both simultaneously to give a trend and an instantaneous reading.
