Designed to snap into panels 1.5-2 mm thick and rated for use between -30 to +90°C, Round KDP/R Cable Entry Plate comes pre-punched with 1 hole for each cable or pneumatic hose to be inserted. Once cable is fed through, slight tug in opposite direction sets strain relief for cable. If cable is removed at later time, hole can be completely sealed off using strain relief indicator. Unit meets both RoHS standards and UL class VO for fire protection.

Round Cable Entry Plate Makes Cable and Pneumatic Hose Installation up to 10 Times Faster Than Traditional Methods

The round KDP/R Cable Entry Plate from Murrplastik Systems, Inc. makes cable and pneumatic hose installation up to 10 times faster than traditional methods. One hole for each cable or pneumatic hose to be inserted is pre-punched into the cable entry plate. Existing round punching tools can be used. Once the cable has been fed through, a slight tug in the opposite direction automatically sets the strain relief for the cable. If the cable is removed at a later time, the hole can be completely sealed off using the strain relief indicator.
An economical, easy-to-install alternative to traditional cable fittings, the KDP/R Cable Entry Plate allows for 50% more cables to be installed within the same real estate. Designed to snap into panels 1.5 - 2.0 mm thick, the KDP/R meets both RoHS standards and UL class VO for fire protection. It is rated for use between -30°C and +90°C. With an integrated NBR/EPDM seal, the KDP/R achieves an IP65 protective rating. Overall the KDP/R system provides quicker assembly and higher packing density, resulting in cost savings over traditional cable entry installations.
