Macdermid Autotype Launches New High Specification Emulsion for Computer-to-Screen Imaging Systems

ROLLING MEADOWS, Illinois, September 9, 2008 - MacDermid Autotype, a leading international manufacturer of pre-press chemical products for the screen printing industry, has announced the launch of Autosol XFT, a new one-pot photopolymer emulsion specifically formulated for use on the latest generation of computer-to-screen imaging systems.

Although Autosol XFT can be processed manually, this ultra fast exposing emulsion has been designed with high speed fully automated stencil production in mind. Excellent coating characteristics, fast exposing and easy washout makes Autosol XFT the best choice for automated CTS systems. In addition, the deep red color of Autosol XFT gives excellent color contrast for visual inspection after processing. Unlike conventional diazo sensitized emulsions, Autosol XFT does not require sensitizing prior to use.

Autosol XFT is designed for use with solvent and conventional UV curable inks and will give good print reproduction and durability in a busy production environment.

Autosol XFT is available in 1 gallon, 5 gallon and 50 gallon drums from MacDermid Autotype distributors.
