Able to locate line faults in cables such as POTS and xDSL, GAO5221 xDSL Subscriber Loop Analyzer test capabilities include Vac/Vdc for twisted pair copper cable, resistance, ac/dc current, capacitance, frequency response, noise, and coil load. Unit can measure maximum available bit rate supported by local loop without need of xDSL modem, and locate bridge taps, shorts, and opens.
