Center Tap Transformer drives loads up to 2,500 Vdc.

August 25, 2008 - Suited for line and portable medical applications such as defibrillators as well as industrial lasers, 4283-1250 series offers primary-to-secondary isolation of up to 7.5 kVdc. Center-tapped secondary is used for creating both positive and negative outputs, which would drive full wave bridge rectifier, ground in center, positive on one side, negative on other, or could be used as half wave output providing positive/negative voltage. Unit operates in unstable or harsh environments.

New High Voltage Center Tap Transformer Drives Loads up to 2,500 Vdc

Ideal For High-Rel Line And Portable Medical Applications Including Defibrillators

ROMOLAND, CA -- The new Model 4283-1250 Series Hi-Voltage Transformers from Datatronics provide a cost-effective means of driving high impedance loads requiring up to 2,500 Vdc. They are application-specific devices, which can be custom configured to meet a wide variety of medical, military or commercial applications.

The center-tapped secondary for the 4283-1250 Series is used for creating both positive and negative outputs. This would drive a full wave bridge rectifier, ground in the center, positive on one side, negative on the other, or could be used as a half wave output providing either a positive or negative voltage.

Offering primary-to-secondary isolation of up to 7.5 KVdc, the 4283-1250 Series is ideal for applications requiring a high-voltage, low-power signal. Typical applications include line and portable medical devices such as defibrillators as well as industrial lasers, ion generators for powder coating and painting equipment, cathode ray tube transformers, traveling wave tube transformers and more.

Like other Datatronics transformers, the 4283-1250 Series is particularly reliable in unstable or harsh environments. The 4283-1250 meets or exceeds the performance, safety and quality standards of a variety of U.S., European and Asian specifications.

The 4283-1250 Series is competitively priced, depending on quantity. It is delivered in a variety of customer-specified packaging. OEM volume quantity pricing is available upon request. Delivery lead-time is stock to eight weeks.
