August 20, 2008 - Weighing 6.34 oz, 7.2 Vdc Model KNB-43L lithium polymer battery is rated at 3,300 mAh and is compatible with KSC-32 charger or KSC-326K gang charger. KNB-49PL non-rechargeable primary lithium pack is rated at 4,500 mAh and has 10 year shelf life. Suited for use as backup power for portables when charging is not available and in emergency situations, KNB-49PL features 20 hr life cycle and 9.0 Vdc.

Kenwood Releases Lithium Polymer and Primary Lithium Batteries for Top Selling Portable Radios


(Suwanee, GA) Kenwood announces immediate availability of lithium polymer batteries, which are extremely light weight and high duty cycle, rated at 3300 mAh for the KNB-43L pack and a new non-rechargeable primary lithium pack, the KNB-49PL, rated at 4500 mAh, with a 10 year shelf life.

The lithium polymer battery weighs only 180g (6.34 oz) and is compatible with the KSC-32 charger or the KSC-326K gang charger and is a 7.2 VDC battery. The primary lithium pack is a 9.0VDC battery with a 20 hour life cycle and is ideal as backup power for portables when charging is not available and in emergency situations.
