Compact Power Line Filters Feature Slide-In Mounting

CORCOM SRB Series Installs Fast Without Mounting Hardware

HARRISBURG, Pa. - August 11, 2008 - The CORCOM SRB Series of power line filters has been enhanced to include slide-in versions for quick, easy mounting in panel openings. The new slide-in mounting approach provides a simple, cost effective installation method, reducing the need for additional mounting hardware. Retention can be along either the long edge or the short edge of the filter.

The shielded filters, which include an IEC 320 male power connection, provide one of the shortest depths available-as short as 0.96 inch (24.38 mm)-to allow use in space-constrained communications, computer and consumer electronics, industrial and commercial, instrumentation, and medical equipment applications. To meet various levels of common-mode filtering performance to minimize conducted emissions, they are available with capacitances ranging from 33 pF to 1000 pF. The shielding helps reduce radiated emissions.

The modules are rated up to 15 A at 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz. They are UL Recognized, CSA Certified, and VDE approved. Load termination is provided using wire leads to keep the mounting depth to a minimum.
