Designed to weigh empty trailers at point of filling, modular Axle Scale Systems accommodate range of trailer lengths, wheel configurations, and axle spacing. Once trailer is at capacity, trailer may also be weighed at entry/exit point on certified in-ground scale, eliminating need for driver to turn back to offload excess material if overloaded. Minneapolis, MN - Intercomp now offers an expanded line of modular Axle Scale configurations to compliment its current line of industry leading Axle Scale Systems. Intercomp's new Filling Scales are designed specifically to weigh empty trailers at the point of filling and can accommodate a wide variety of trailer lengths, wheel configurations and axle spacing.
The highly portable nature of these scales allow the trailers to be weighed, in real time at the filling point, and are ideal for areas with height restrictions, foundation repairs or budget constraints. Once a trailer is at capacity, the trailer may also be weighed at the entry/exit point on a certified in-ground scale, saving the driver from having to turn back to offload excess material if overloaded.
Models are available in steel and aluminum and the system offers a total capacity of 120,000 lbs/60,000 kg. Optional wheels and handles are available on the portable landing gear scale.
