Klein Tools Adds Offset Tape Stop(TM) Power-Return Rule to Product Line

LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL - July 2008 - Klein Tools recently added the Offset Tape Stop(TM)
Power-Return Rule (Cat. No. 915-26) to its line of power-return rules. This innovative tape measure features patented offset and saddle reference markings that enable electrical contractors to create the majority of three-bend saddle and offset bends without complicated calculations.

The front of the rule displays saddle bend calculations, while the back of the rule shows offset calculations, making it easier for users to determine angle bends. Complete multiplier formulas are printed at the end of the tape.

A comfortable, non-slip rubber grip protects against impact, and a dual end hook easily attaches to conduits. The patented Tape Stop rule's self-lock blade automatically locks when pulled out. Weighing less than a pound, the rule is one inch wide and extends up to 16 feet.

"Klein's Offset Tape Stop Power-Return Rule's innovative calculation features offer users quick and easy reference on the job site, especially when measuring three-bend saddles and offset bends," says Judy Levine, product manager, Klein Tools.

Klein Tools celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2007. Founder and blacksmith Mathias Klein forged the first-known U.S.-made pliers in Chicago, 1857. Since then, Klein Tools has become the leading manufacturer of a variety of hand tools and occupational protective equipment.
