Acrilex, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of high-end custom-colored acrylics, announces its Acriglas® Clear Impressions series of acrylic sheets. This series, designed to reproduce the look of upscale, patterned, tempered glass, has crystal clarity, unlike glass, and can be made with textures on one or both sides of the sheet. The aesthetic appeal of these products, as well as the availability, toughness, and ease of fabrication, make them a practical and cost effective alternative to the glass products they were designed to emulate.
Adding to the existing line of nine Impressions textures of Acriglas®, Acrilex Inc. has expanded it's offerings with nine more distinctive textures, bringing the total texture palette to eighteen. The newest additions to the line are: Brushed, Woven Silk, Mesozoic, Precambrian, Box Mini-Flute, Waffle Iron, Techno and Morning Dew. These textures can be used alone on one side of the clear sheet, or combined with any other Impressions texture on the second side of the sheet, allowing for hundreds of potential combinations and unique effects.
Ideal for use in architectural applications such as privacy panels, office partitions and fixtures, Acriglas® Clear Impressions sheets can also be easily thermoformed to create custom light fixtures and unique furniture. Additionally, the ease of printing, painting, hot-stamping and gluing make it an excellent choice for point-of-purchase displays and sign applications. And because acrylic has superb light-piping qualities, surface textures can be illuminated for dramatic effects with LED and fluorescent edge lighting.
Acriglas® Clear Impressions sheets are offered at a standard size of 4 x 6 feet, and are available in thickness ranging from 1/8-½ inches. Sheets in the series can be custom cut and polished, or configured to meet any specification. Acriglas® Clear Impressions sheets can be used in combination with other acrylic products in applications where required.
