Safetinex safety light curtains can detect person or any part of body entering danger zone, and immediately stop machine to protect operator from injury. They consist of sender and receiver unit that demarcate protection zone between them, and correspond to ISO 13849-1 safety category 4 and IEC 61496-1 and 2 type 4. Models are available with resolutions of 14 mm (YBB14) for finger and 30 mm (YBB30) for hand protection, with max protection field width of 3.5 and 12 m, respectively.

Contrinex Safetinex safety light curtains are used wherever risks cannot be eliminated through machine design. A person or any part of the body entering a danger zone is detected by the light curtain and immediately stops the machine to help protect the operator from injury.
The new Safetinex safety light curtains consist of a sender and a receiver unit that demarcate the protection zone between them. They correspond to safety category 4 according to ISO 13849-1 (former EN 954-1) as well as type 4 according to IEC 61496-1 and -2. The line consists of models with resolutions of 14 mm (YBB14) for finger protection and 30 mm (YBB30) for hand protection, with a maximum protection field width of 3.5 m (YBB14) and 12 m (YBB30) respectively. The maximum protection field height is either 1685 mm (YBB14) or 1822 mm (YBB30). All types offer a choice between two channels.
Connection is via M12 or M26 connector, short cable (pigtail) with M12 connector or PUR cable, up to 10 m long. In addition, the product range includes a safety relay of safety category 4 for manual or automatic restart as well as fixing elements.
