Converter Board can be used with any synchro/resolver.
July 16, 2008 -
Model 2790504 is resolver to SSI converter board that converts resolver position into 24-bit absolute SSI data format with 12 bits of resolution per cycle (4,096 counts) and 12 bits of turn counter (4,096 turns). It writes the current position to on-board flash during power fail and recovers position upon power up. Unit also provides Count Reset for establishing reference position, and includes loss of phase detection circuit and fail safe fault interface.
Vega CNC Announces the Release of the 2790504 Resolver to Absolute SSI Converter Boards
Resolvers are used in many nuclear and other harsh environment applications, and now with the Vega Model 2790504 resolver to SSI converter board you can have both the ruggedness of a resolver and the simplicity of an SSI interface. The 2790504 may be used with virtually any synchro/resolver.
The Vega Model 2790504 converts resolver position into a 24 bit absolute SSI data format with 12 bits of resolution per cycle (4096 counts) and 12 bits of turn counter (4096 turns). The 2790504 writes the current position to the on board flash during power fail and recovers position upon power up. The unit also provides a Count Reset for establishing reference position.
The loss of phase detection circuit and fail safe fault interface ensures that in the event of loss of feedback the system can be shut down in an orderly fashion.
