Hemostasis Valves prevent air and fluid leakage.


July 18, 2008 - Hemostasis valves function as seal by preventing air and fluid leakage around wires and instruments. Able to click into open and semi-open positions and lock with thumb lever, one-handed hemostasis valve (Part #33057) has 2 channels. Straight primary channel has silicone gasket, while angled secondary channel can be used for pressure monitoring and flushing. Self-sealing hemostasis valve (Part #33058) is high pressure and luer activated, and can connect to standard catheters.

that function as a seal by preventing air and fluid leakage around wires and instruments.

Our one-handed hemostasis valve (Part # 33057) has two channels. The straight primary channel has a silicone gasket, while the angled secondary channel can be used for pressure monitoring and flushing. This valve clicks into open and semi-open positions and locks with an easy-to-use thumb lever. The self-sealing hemostasis valve (Part # 33058) is high pressure and luer activated. It can connect to standard catheters and comes with an actuator cap to keep the slit septum in optimal condition prior to use.
