Capacitive Accelerometer offers up to 100 gn measuring range.
July 21, 2008 -
Available with option of unipolar or differential output, K-BeamŽ Type 8305B can measure single axis acceleration in static or low-amplitude, very low frequency environment. Capacitive accelerometer features immunity to temperature transients, low overall height of 9 mm for dia of 27.9 mm, measuring ranges of 2, 10, 25, 50 and 100 gn, frequency response from 0-500 Hz for measuring ranges of 50 and 100 gn, extended supply voltage range up to 32 Vdc, and ground isolation.
K-Beam Type 8305B... capacitive accelerometers measure single axis acceleration in a truly static or low-amplitude, very low frequency environment. Featuring high sensitivity and virtual immunity to temperature transients, these accelerometers are available in two measuring ranges and with the option of unipolar or differential output.
The revised series Type 8305B... now covers a measuring range of up to 100 gn. Type 8305B... is used in the automobile industry in over-the-road testing and on Hydropuls shakers for stability and service life tests, in the aerospace industry and for investigating structures. The important features of the new series are: low overall height of 9 mm for diameter of 27,9 mm, Measuring ranges of 2, 10, 25, 50 and 100 gn, frequency response from 0 ... 500 Hz (for measuring ranges of 50 and 100 gn), extended supply voltage range up to 32 VDC, ground isolation, single-ended or soldered connection with differential out-put signal (Type 8305B...M2).
