New Honeywell Subwoofer Cables Deliver Deep, Tight Bass for Digital Movie Soundtracks

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, WI, June 10, 2008 -- Honeywell (NYSE: HON) has launched Crystal Series subwoofer cables designed to maximize the low-frequency audio performance of today's advanced powered subwoofers for ultimate music and home theater enjoyment.

Optimized for low frequency signals, the cables feature a heavy-braided 100% foil shield with 25% overlap to reject EMI and RFI noise, therefore preventing unwanted hums and buzzes even over longer cable runs. By greatly reducing noise, the cables ensure full bass performance, especially in home theater systems utilizing the Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound processor's dedicated LFE channel.

To add further protection from high and low frequency interference Honeywell incorporated a second 95% tinned copper braid shield along with 24K gold-plated RCA connectors to yield superior signal transfer and corrosion resistance. The 20 AWG tightly-twisted, tinned copper conductors are insulated in foam PE.
